Success Story

Mr. N. admitted to Kingsland Hills Care Center on May 18, 2019 with complications after a shoulder injury. At that time he required moderate assistance with mobility and transfers, and was able to walk 100 feet with a walker. When he discharged on June 8th, he could walk 300 feet, climb stairs, and transfer independently. He was always cooperative and compliant with all exercises and activities to meet goals and improve.

He said everything went well here at Kingsland Hills Care Center and exercise was number one! Our Therapy Department came by three times a week and “if they hadn’t pushed me, I wouldn’t have been able to lift my arm”.

He is happy to be home, enjoying his recliner along with his dog, Harlee. He makes sure that he continues to walk and keep up his strength.
